Default New LPN in columbus?

Hey, my friend and I are about to make the move to columbus, hoping to anyway, I've a job already lined up but my friend is an lpn. Anyone know what the average pay for one is and if it is hard or easy to find a job in columbus? Also, what is a decent place to live in columbus fairly close to a college, he is going to be working part time as he works on his rn? And what is a good price range for an aprtment?

RltrTodd is on a distinguished road
Not much work at the hospitals for lpns, but plenty of dr. offices and nursing homes. Figure $15 + or - for starting pay. The Dispatch (main local paper) has a whole section for health care workers in the weekend employment section.

Apartments in Clintonville (just north of OSU campus) is $450-600/ month for 1 or 2 bedrooms.
