Unfortunately, many people in Columbus that have stucco probably have wood rot and mold. I am sure if a moisture intrusion test were done on most of the homes here, they would discover it. I wonder what recourse the home owner would have?

Since this is still a very relevant and important topic, I thought I'd chime in. I know two families who purchased houses in Blacklick off Taylor Station Road that were built during the boom and both have had problems with their driveways cracking. There was some talk about some political maneuverings that the developers did to get those homes built. Does anyone know the details? I think it had to do with which city would supply services.
And look at all those cheap houses, apartments, and condos that put additional strain on the schools. Don't even think about driving down East Broad St near Mt. Carmel around 4pm.
I would love to hear what some of the workers who built those homes have to say about them. A co-worker's brother worked as a painter for a company that contracted with the developers of those homes and he warns everyone away from them. Unfortunately, he's now on disability due to injuries suffered when he fell off a ladder at one of the houses. He said he was rushing the job, as usual, when he slipped.
