Columbus is a great town to grow up in but it was not my cup of tea, I really like living in Nashville the people are more outgoing and friendly here and more mild mannered its more of my style, I still have love for Columbus thou it was a great place to grow up but I would never move back.
there is absolutely nothing "East Coast" about Columbus at all. It is as Midwestern as can be. I'm surprised by some of the comments here as I find the people of Columbus to be very friendly.

Columbus definitely is not at all like an east coast city, which is usually more of a good thing than a bad thing, in my opinion. Lived in Columbus for several years, was there this weekend. Don't see a huge difference between Columbus people and other Midwesterners / Ohioans.

Typical "I met one a-hole somewhere, therefore they must all be a-holes" thread.

The man straightened up and let out the loudest belch I have ever heard (before or since) into frat boy's face.

It's been ages since I've laughed so hard.

The call and response O-H I-O is awesome when you don't live in ohio anymore. It really is cool when I wear some buckeye shirt in the street and someone gives me a nice little O-H. I approve of the chant.
