Go for a night out on High in the Short North and Park St, then follow it up with Sullivant, Cleveland, Broad, Livingston, Lockbourne, E Main, E 5th, etc. There should be cool stuff there, but there's not. I can hit up Hennepin and 1st for the Short North-Park St comparison, but in a city with half the population of Columbus I can also find plenty of great stuff on Lyndale, Lake, Nicollet, Central, Chicago, Main, 13th NE, E 38th, etc. Thankfully, those are all largely the antithesis of Park St/1st Ave, which has taken over Uptown, our version of the Short North and which is its near future.

You'd rather that all those other Columbus streets were full of good stuff too, so yes, you do care.

I wasn't into them, either, it was just that the flyers were so ubiquitous that most people knew about them.
