Stay well east of State Route 256. Avoid Quail Hollow condominiums on east Livingston Avenue.

It all depends on where you live in Whitehall. Really wide range of people that live there. One street may be nice and clean, while two blocks over you'll have run down houses with meth labs in basements.

Original Poster, what street were you looking at? We can definitely give you a better opinion of the area.

I have come to the conclusion that most of the apartment and rental townhouse complexes are somewhat sketchy and not that great but most of the back streets with owner occuppied single family homes are still pretty decent.

I teach at Whitehall schools, and am glad the ppl of Whitehall are looking to turn things around and try to get it back to where it used to be years before! But at the moment I'd say it would be Columbus --> Whitehall --> Gahanna, Westerville, Dublin, etc
