A relative was said to be a wrestler in the state of Ohio, 1955 give or take 2-3 years. And attended a wrestling school. This was not related to a high school or college, but rather professional wrestling. There is a very good website for Mid Atlantic wrestling with list of matches for each year going back many decades. Ohio would be in another area.
Any good source to see names of wrestlers in that area?

Leipzig Haus is a bar that was (is?) a hang out for wrestlers years ago. Worth a visit or call...maybe some older staff/mgt is still around, or stories have been passed down.

I can still remember Lex's Live Wrestling on TV Saturday afternoons in the 50s. Bob Greene did a colum on it in the Chicago Tribune in 1985. Try this link:
