Looks like your typical Wolf spider. They tend to be large and nasty looking, but they're fairly harmless.

Thanks...ended up finding it out yesterday before checking back here. Pretty nasty looking for such a harmless fellow! I think I will name him! :-D

Looks massive... Its eyes are big enough to cause red-eye in the camera flash! I'd lasso that thing and take it outside. I get a big gallon of bug spray and soak the perimeter of my house foundation on the outside in the beginning of spring and again like Aug/Sept. Usually only see an occasional ant in my house.
