My fiance may be getting transferred to Dublin for work (we're in Tennessee), so we're looking at places to move either in Dublin, nearby in Columbus, or the surrounding areas (we've never been there so we have a lot of research to do, thank goodness for the interwebz). We're looking at a rental range of between $800-$1200. On a cursory search on apartments.com I find that pretty much every apartment out there has a 2 pet limit, which is quite disheartening. We have three small pets (2 cats and 1 teeny dog), good credit, are great renters. Anyone know of any apartments/condos/townhomes that allow 3, or that will work with you or allow you to negotiate it at least?

Thanks!

Patti

What was that? sounded like you said you have one cat, and one dog, correct?

Get an apt away from the manager's office, if possible. By declaring the dog, you can walk him without fear of "pet counters". If the manager happens to see a cat in the window, well, you have a cat, right? Helps if the cats look alike. We have two black & white cats----and a little brown tortie. So, we put down one black & white cat, and one tortie. Well....it worked!

Ha ha Marylee, I'm sure many people do that! We'll do it if we get desperate but we'd prefer to be legit if at all possible. Our two cats look nothing alike - one's a black shorthair and the other is a big tabby Maine Coone.
