Retired a few months ago from a job in Columbus and just had to get in a parting shot. For several reasons it got to the point where I absolutely detested Columbus. I know I am not alone in my feelings because several other people in this forum have expressed similar thoughts to mine. Now that I am finally away from such a miserable place as C'bus, I am incredibly happy. I honestly think a lot of Columbus boosters are from small towns in Ohio or West Virginia with limited opportunities, so when they get to the "big city" they think it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. I rejoice in knowing that I will NEVER, ever live or work again in Columbus, Ohio. Finally, I won't be posting in the Columbus forum again, I just want to forget the place.

I just moved here and so far, so good. I will be moving into a new apartment complex in Upper Arlington, so I'm pretty excited.
