In fact, it is going to be raining for the next three days here and the lows are in the low 40's. It is spring and feels like winter! Spring - about one month long and wet.

Ohio's four seasons can be summed up as Winter, more winter, still winter, and summer. Here we are in June and it feels like October. Your assessment though was much more detailed and very much accurate Good thing I'm not wasting the money to put a pool in my yard up here, though I could generate a lot of income turning it into an ice skating rink 8 months out of the year.

Ohio's weather is variable, but we do have four seasons.
And winter does not last anywhere near seven months long.

And we had days that were in the 70s and 80. That's summer weather. Like it said, it's variable. But winter does not last seven months.

Yes it does we have cold days and flurries any time from October to April! Not every day is it going to be 30-40 but March and April were horrible. If it had a less variable climate like the south that would make the city so much better. I cant wait to move south!

Then by that logic summer also lasts seven months.
When you say "South," I hope you're talking about San Diego or Mexico. Because the Southeast United States has its own host of weather-related issues, ranging from terrible humidity to hurricanes. There's no perfect weather anywhere really.

Exactly! Doesn't matter what the calendar says. We get more cold days than we do warm days around here.

I would take terrible humidity and the chance a hurricane might hit over the 100% certainty that it's going to be a long, cold, and snowy winter with several snow storms each year in Ohio anyday.
