Gahanna vs Reynoldsburg
I am a college student that currently resides on Brice Rd and I've been looking to move out of the immediate area to greener pastures. For convience sake I've limited myself down to two particular areas nearby that I've not quite been able to decide on yet. I will have a roommate and collective price ranges of around $650 a month are affordable. I commute downtown daily for classes and to Brice Rd to work (note: 3rd shift worker, rush hour traffic not an issue there)
There's quite a few nice places in Gahanna that I've found apartment wise that are fairly close to the airport. Unfortunately, I don't know that area particularly well on the topic of traffic and crime. Also, while I'm sure there is noise from the airport, I have never experienced living near an airport before to know how instrusive it would be to my sleeping, if at all.
Elsewise, I've found some very nice apartments in our price range in Reynoldsburg, down Gender Rd and on Tussing. Unfortunately, I again don't know crime rates for sure in these areas and they're a little further away from a mall (except Eastland, eh)
Opinions/info on these areas?

I know Gahanna is close to the shopping and close to the entertainment in Columbus. I don't know much about Reynoldsburg.

Hi! I live in Gahanna but I need to know how close to the highway you need to be and what apartments in Gahanna you have been looking at in order to give you more information. Sorry I won't be able to help you with information on Reynoldsburg though.

As a college student I think you might find a little more to do in the area around Gahanna. Reynoldsburg isn't bad, but it tends to be a bit more of a family type area, and I would think that young and single folks may feel a little disconnected from the heavy emphasis on family type of activities. Gahanna is more of a mix, and with Easton so close by the variety of things to do, especially on weekends, is greater.

some areas near Gahanna would probably be more "college student" friendly. Reynoldsburg is mostly married-with-children folks, in my opinion.
