Default Brewery District in Columbus???

My husband may be taking a job in what we *think* is the area of Col. called the Brewery district or something like that.? Are we right in what the area is called? What area in Col. is it in? What are the close surrounding areas? We know a little about Columbus but have never heard of this. Can anyone help with some info please?? Thanks much!

The brewery district is just south of downtown columbus.
It is a nice little area which consists of offices, luxury apartments, some retail, and many condos and smaller renovated homes.

The brewery district is just adjacent to a very historical and rich area called German Village. This area would be considered the central city and would be best for someone who likes more of an urban lifestyle. Columbus has many nice urban areas and this is one of them.

If you wanted to live farther from downtown you could do so very easily because highway 70 (going east and west) runs right next to the district.
