Which of these has the best schools?
Can somebody help? Out of these 4 areas which has the best schools both private and public??
Worthington
Westerville
Polaris
Delaware
We have a 1st grader and a baby so a safe neighborhood and excellent schools are extremley important to us. Are one of these a safer more *family friendly* place to live than the other? Any help is appreciated
Thank you

There is no Polaris school district in the Columbus area; however there is a Polaris vocational school near Cleveland.

I would go with Worthington out of those, but I think Dublin, Powell & Upper Arlington have better schools.

Worthington, Olentangy (Powell/Lewis Center), Upper Arlington, Dublin & Hilliard all met 25 out of 25 indicators last year on the state's Local Report Card. IMHO, that is only one measure of a school district's effectiveness. That being said, I think you can get a quality education in any of these school districts.

I'm very familiar with CPS schools, but nothing outside the beltway.
Still, those are all good areas and they have money; so you'll be OK on any of them.

Olentangy is a wonderful school district. I know someone who moved to the Columbus area and got a high school social studies teaching job there. He loves it.
