Help. We may move to the columbus area. We live in Dallas now and I've always said that if we move somewhere "smaller" town that I want a little farm. School district isn't an issue (we homeschool)...but the most bang for our buck is what we want. My spouse wants a new home and I don't know if that is possible to find with animal zoning. I don't mind an old farm house but we really aren't fixer-up people. Kitchens are very important to us...we spend most of our time in there! ANy suggestions on areas to look??? We are only internet looking right now and you can't get a feel for the areas.thanks for your help. Need something fairly close to columbus for a daily commute. |

I would recommend the areas south and east of Newark, Ohio, along I-70. If you stay west of Zanesville, the commute should be "relatively" OK. You may want to go with a modular home, many existing homes in that area are quite old.
