I moved back to Texas after 4 years in Columbus and I miss Scramblers!!! I have yet to find a place down here even close.
I miss Skyline Chili and Donatos too. |

The pizza here is not the best it actually sucks, however I disagree that Columbus has terrible undistint food, have you ever been to Hankes...if you have you know that the chef there is a world class chef and was to first chef from America to win the Gold medal in the Culinary world cup (yes there is a championship based on food), the gold medal is usaully dominated by Frenchmen and the great chefs of Londan. To put this on a US level, he has outcooked every major chef to win the honor to even compete in France. Hankes resturant is actually rated the best in Ohio and one of the best resturants in the mid west. You go check it out the food is great! Handke's Cuisine: Chef Handke's Bio (broken link)

I agree. I moved to Columbus almost two yrs ago and still haven't found good pizza. Donatos is probably one of the worst places for pizza. I've tried it about 4-5 times just to make sure and it has sucked everytime.
I visited Chicago only once and had great pizza. My favorite though is Philly pizza. |

The pizza here is not the best it actually sucks-----I will rephrase that. The pizza here is not the best I have ever had, but it serves the purpose. Houndogs in is pretty good but in my opinion it will never beat a deep dish pizza from Chicago.

Terita's pizza on Cleveland Avenue
Katzinger's Deli downtown.
Schmidt's in German Village
Cafe Istanbul on Bethel Rd.
Salvi's in Hilliard. Sunday buffet. Definitely try the Pasta Salvi. OMG!
House of Japan at Polaris or Tuttle
China Dynasty on 161 or in UA - Empress Chicken is yum-o
