Major props go out to Starliner Diner. Located somewhat close to old Hilliard on Cemetary Rd.
An amazing place to eat and drink.
I guess you would say that it is a mix of Cuban and Tex-Mex.
They have a standard menu, but look at the specials board to see what is off the menu.
They make their own bread which tastes great.
I recommend you give this place a try.
Also, if anyone remembers the Kahiki, it has been reborn.
A tiny place out on Mill Run on the same side where K-Mart used to be.
I believe it is called Tropical Bistro,I have not had the chance to eat there personally. I have heard that everything from the Kahiki is now offered here.
Even the smoking Tiki drink.

Tropical Bistro bit the dust. I've been in there. It wasn't great. Grabbing some La Choy from Kroger would have been a better choice. Could have just been a bad night for them, but I wasn't impressed.

While all of these restaurants sound good, what about the Road Kill restaurant? Who would want to eat at a restaurant with that name?

Default Mmhm Soul food

I know ppl are more conscious of their eating habits but Lawshea's is one of the best soul food restaurants I've eaten in a long time. Whether you want chicken, fish, or ribs they have it!

Nice. I'll definitely be looking for some good southern or soul food when I get back to Columbus. There's a place here in Chapel Hill called Mama Dip's---pure delicious southern food...I think I've spoiled myself!

Adriatico's was always a place I loved when I lived in Columbus. The white pizza from Planks in German Village, and Grinders subs were good too.

Grinders... good call. Especially the spicy chicken sandwich.

Scramblers is also fantastic, I prefer it over First Watch.

I also like WG Grinders for being a sandwich place.

What places am I missing?
I miss all of these places as well, especially Donatos. I also enjoy Bob Evans. I wish they had one here (Las Vegas). Brio Tuscan Grille was another favorite. Luckily, they opened one on the strip several months ago.

Do they have Mimi's Cafe in Las Vegas? They are owned by Bob Evans and you can get some similar types of food there. More of a Louisiana vibe than a Midwestern vibe though.
