Flights from Columbus?
Ironically, there was a time when people from Columbus would drive to Dayton to get a better flight!
Port Columbus has come a long way, and even had a hub for awhile when America West flew out of here. I'm not even sure if any other airlines have a hub at CMH, now that AW is gone. At least there are more routes, destination cities, and daily flights than there used to be. Although air traffic has vastly increased in/out of CMH since the late '80s, it still sucks that you can't find many modestly priced direct flights anywhere!
By the way..."evolvement"?!?
I'm guessing we probably come from different sides of the cultural/political divide...I don't know much about attitudes in Dayon, but I do think Yellow Springs is a totally wacked-out freak show!

I love Lancaster........
We moved to Lancaster 7 years ago and have really grown to love it here. I am originally from Charlotte, NC and do not miss the traffic and how crowded it was and is....... I feel safe here, easy to get around, Columbus not a bad drive, near the Hocking Hills, friendly people, etc. We are relocating again and I hate to leave Lancaster........we are proud to have called it home. Good Luck in your decision..........

Howdy dobiefamily! Thanks for the kind words re: my hometown I can't help but feel it's a special place, and I sure miss living there! I'm glad y'all have enjoyed it. Best of luck wherever you're headed next (GA?)

I would stay away from the more urban areas of lancaster particularly on the west side. The commute can be a hassel though depending on when u work. I'd say 45 min but could be more if during rushhour. However, they are making 33 a limited access freeway which should help. I haven't driven it in a few years though. Carroll might be another option. But I'd stay away from Canal Winchester. The area is nice (as long as you stay away from gender rd) but the home values have been going down a lot. Pickerington is not too bad if u stay on the southeast side.
