We have been going to a Second Welsh Baptist church for the past 5 years, but I don't really think the name of the church really matters or what kind of church it is as long as it teaches the truth. We are a mixed coupple with 4 children from Wilkes Barre PA. We're looking to move possibly around January.

There's a really big, beautiful SDA church they just built a few years ago, in Worthington. It's along 161 a few blocks east of the Village Green, but west of the R.R. tracks near Proprietors Ave. It's on the south side of 161 (on your right if you're coming from High St., on your left if you're coming from 71).
You might wanna check that one out

Vista Community Church....
This is where I go, I actually helped to plant it. (we are still new...started in JAN 07.) But we have grown a lot in that time (more than we realized we could/would) We meet Sunday eveings (its the only time because of where we are renting!)

feel free to check it out...it says on the site where we meet since it tends to go between two places. Lots of younger couples (mid twenty's) but also some older ones...very welcoming...very relaxed

We got married on 05, but we just moved to ohio about a year ago and are wanting to meet new people too! I left a church option above if you ever want to come visit. ( www.vistadublin.com)

I totally agree with you. I live in Northeast PA and have been talking on moving to Columbus or surrounding area. My best friend who I work with happens to be a gay man and I tell him and anyone else that I'm not God. It's up to him to judge you. God accepts anyone into his church that believes in him. What most people don't realize is that's why Jesus died on the cross was for our sins no matter how big or small.

That's true. But part of the deal—which even fewer people realize—is that when we accept Jesus in faith, He asks us to turn away from our sins (repent) and follow Him completely!
Jesus, to the woman caught in adultery: "Then nor do I condemn you ... Go now and leave your life of sin."

Okay, so about "judgmentalism"...gee, how often are Christians bludgeoned with this nagging accusation?
I've heard it best expressed that we must love the sinner, but hate the sin. I agree with that! Christ commands us to love one another, as He loves us. But nowhere in the Bible are we commanded to tolerate, enable, or endorse sin.
As witnesses to the world, part of our role is to point people toward Christ. Toward holiness.
Christ offended people. He was NOT politically correct. Inoffensive, moderate, consensus-building "nice" people don't get beaten, whipped and then nailed to a tree to die an agonizing death.
Knowing the difference b/t right and wrong, speaking up for truth, and teaching the misguided what we know is right...it ain't easy! And yes, we take alot of flak for it. But these are among the difficult duties to which Christians are called.
