hi, i have been unemployed for a year and my car is closeto being repossessed. does anyone know what will happed and how bad is capitol one. so far they have lied more than 3 times so i know there sneaky. i owe way more than i have which isnt much?? if i totally close my account with my bank would they still be able to get any money that would be in there???

If the car is worth more to a buyer than you owe, you could sell the car and pay off the loan.

Once it gets repoed, Capital One will take it to auction and sell it for wholesale, which is less than you could sell it at retail. Then they'll hound you for the difference between the sale price and what you owe.

They dont want your car and will do everything they can to work with you before repossesion.
