Yes, columbus' urban neighborhoods (short north and german village areas) have seen such gentrification that they are still a great mix of all kinds of people, but higher property values and the fast changing of rentals to condos and townhomes, and conversions back to single family homes, has pushed out median and lower income gay people.
People of more average incomes, whom are gay, are finding themselves all over columbus, or if they want to be in the innercity, Merion Village and the areas just north of OSU and south of OSU are seeing some rental and new home owner spill over.
