Default Help for new college grad -- where to live

I will be moving to columbus and looking for a job. What are good areas for a 22 year old male to live?

Depending on what you want to spend....and where you want to live now...

If you want to be in a more party location and spend a range of $700-$1000:
GRANDVIEW: safe, can be affordable, and fun near downtown, places to work, so many options. Check this area out first
1. Arena district (i love this area so much to do)
2. Short North (near OSU but far enough removed from typical college undergrad life)
3. Victorian Village
4. Off Sawmill Rd (if you are from suburbs, great shopping and great stuff to do)

The Brewery District is hit or miss..... There are some RIDICULOUSLY NICE condos and other housing there, and then there's everything else.

Depending on where you'll be working, I'd recommend Grandview (lots of fun) or Clintonville (a more liberal, cheaper Grandview with fewer bars). The Short North is great but way too expensive. If the arts district (Short North) is what you're craving, try Victorian Village (north of Goodale and south of 6th ave) or Harrison West as the next best thing. German Village is fun too but again, kinda hit or miss & can be pricey also.

Here's a link to a really good neighborhood map that should help
