Default Any specific apartment communities -- short North, Arena, Brewery, etc.

Just graduated, 22 yrs., male looking to move to Columbus. Any help with specific apartment communities in short North, Arena area, Italian, German, Victorian villages, Brewery district, etc. would be really helpful. Thanks much.

Victorian Village is a good choice for your age. There is no shortage of nightlife you can walk to in both the Short North and Arena District... oh, and most importantly, rental companies will actually rent to someone in their early 20's. (Many in GV, IV and BD will not) German Village is more of a wealthy older crowd anyway and the brewry district is just a slightly younger extension of German Village now that the Arena District is the trendy area. Not much going on in the BD these days. Italian Village is the east side of high street in the Short North and is not nearly as warm as Vic Village to the west. There are not as many rentals and if you continue east a ways it gets really crappy back there.

"Dunkel Company Realtors" would be a good thing to google. I had a very good experience renting from them for a number of years.

I agree with the above suggestions.
Victorian/Itlian Village are more lively these days.

The Brewery District is not as full of nightlife as it once was but there are many locals bars in the area. And there are a ton of upscale apartment complexes that have opened in the Brewery District in the past 4 years.
I would check into the apartment complexes in the Brewery District, plus downtown's only full service grocery store ( a Kroger) is now in the Brewery District. It is a very liveable area.
