My family and I will be moving from San Diego, CA to the Columbus area around the first of August, due to a new job in ministry. We owned our home in California and are interested in renting first to get a good feel for the area. We are looking for a newer built home (3-4 beds, 2.5 baths) in the price range of 1,500 to 1,600. I have a son age 9 and daughter age 2 and would be interested in an area that has good schools and some diversity of population with a great location (who doesn't right)
. I would be interested also in free standing condos or townhomes with basements. Does anyone have suggestions?

I'm not going to be much help but I really love Gahanna. It is very diverse with great schools. Also close to the freeway and stores etc. I hope you find what you are looking for.

Beautiful, very family oriented neighborhood, 4 bedrooms (5 if you count the basement bedroom also with a full bath). 3 1/2 baths. On a cul-de-sac. The bus picks up at the home next door for the only 5 star rated elementary in town.
