OSU has a big hospital system and Mount Carmel is one of the best.
Westervile and Gahana are 2 really nice areas with great schools.
Just be aware of your commute. Columbus is a nice city. I have spent time living there.

Seriously - I moved from metro Atlanta to the Columbus area last year - and IMO you have made a very good choice to stay in Ohio. I hope to get back South one day - and the Atlanta area is not on my list!
