Hi, it is getting more certain that we are moving to Columbus, and possibly rather quickly. I am scanning the internet and more trying to find rentals (not an easy feat in columbus.....) I came across a property in Bexley that looks interesting. I know that Bexley is it's own little enclave on the East side. the property is North of Broad, by maryland elementary school. Can anyone give me a heads up on the area?

We like the school district. Anything else we should know about the area?

thanks,

ImayBmoving(soon)

btw, we are looking to rent for a family of 3. if anyone knows anything that may be interesting.... dm me.

My impression (I walk my dog nearby) is that area is pretty nice. I am not familiar with that school since I do not have kids of my own. East 5th avenue is about half a mile north, and that is a very rough area. The crime does not cross over, however. That's also not far away from Main Street, and in Bexley there is a lot to do on Main (coffe shops, local restaurants, etc). Bexley is walkable, people are always outdoors, it is what every suburb should be.

However, Bexley has always amazed me. It is a really nice area, but it is surrounded by many rougher neighborhoods. Hope that helps!
