I just want some opinions on these 2 areas. I know the bus system doesn't run through either one. I also read that Pataskala is boring. I don't really find that to be much of an issue. Which one has better schools and has more black or mixed families in it. I have 4 kids ages 3 to 12 and they are mixed. My husband is black and I'm white.Which area do you think I would have more of a problem in that area. Also which area is safer? Grove City was also one of the areas I've been looking into and have done a lot of research on that area. However I know very little about Pataskala. We are looking for something with at least 1/2 an acre with a well. Price between about $40,000 to $110,000. Any info would help.

Pataskala seems like it's a little bit more diverse than Galloway and both are quiet. As far as safety is concerned both are evenly matched. However the lower income types from Whitehall and Eastside Columbus have started to move into Reynoldsburg which is Pataskala's western neighbor.

Another question is which one would be better as far as getting an elementary teaching job? I am going to school right now to be a teacher. I know the Southwestern SD is really big and probably have a good chance there but what about Pataskala's SD?

Southwestern SD may be larger but it can be a little more troublesome. Kids from Urbancrest attend there and that area is a pretty rough place if not ghetto.Don't know much about the SD that covers Pataskala but it's probably safer than SW SD.

I doubt you are going to find a half acre in Grove City or Galloway within that price range.

Thanks for the advice. I think I might start looking into Pataskala instead even though I've been planning on Grove City for the past year or two. I usually have a better chance of finding half acres or more in Grove City than Galloway but I see many in Pataskala.
