Question Working in south or west columbus

I am planning to move to Columbus and my job allows me to work either in south Columbus or west Columbus. I have never been to Columbus. Can you suggest which area is better to work between those two places. Also are there areas in these neighborhoods that are not safe?

Hello, tennisfan1 and welcome to Columbus. To help you a little bit more, we'll need some more information from you. Are you single? Married? Have any children? The answers to these questions will greatly determine where you'll want to live. You can find good places to live on either side of the city. To my fellow posters: any help you can give? Happy house/apartment hunting, tennisfan1.

Grove City or Hilliard. Some areas of the west and south are a little rough. Or go a little out towards Galloway or West Jefferson if you want to be out a bit.

I have to concur with the above poster. Grove City is a wonderful choice. Just avoid Urbancrest and you'll do fine.
