Default Merion Village?

Can anyone give me any info on living in Merion Village? Safety/Area would be very helpful. Thanks

Merion village still qualifies as 'up and coming'.

But I think you get a lot for your money. To the north is overpriced German Village. The further south you go the more hillbilly you get.

(I've learned to respect hillbillies a lot. TV portrays them as white trash, but that is not true. They are not the brightest or best looking people you have ever seen, but they are hard working and honest. Most wouldn't take welfare and would rather be poor than be on the dole. I've gained a lot of respect (and a few funny jokes) for them. I'd have them as neighbors over some of the bible thumpers in the better areas any day. )

I know a few medical residents (poor doctors) who live in the area.

If you work in the city and are looking for places under $200K, I'd move there. There are some areas as nice as German Village for half the money.
