Just when I start believing StreetCreed that the people in Columbus might be normal and misunderstood.

6 Children rushed to the ER as two racing school buses crash.

Evidently thousands of people were gathered to watch racing school buses. It's a common event here.

Every Saturday night there's some sort of an accident," said owner Jeff Nuckles. Nuckles son was behind the wheel of a bus that flipped on its side Saturday night. He was not injured.

"I think it worked, and I think the catch fence worked," he said.

Just a thought, but if you rush 6 kids to a trauma center, I don't think the fence worked.

Last month, a concrete observation tower collapsed at the speedway, injuring six spectators. The tower was repaired and reopened by the next week.

I'm not really worked up about the adults, they pretty much made their choice. To bad for the kids, one as young 18 months.

How bizarre--the people in Cowtown are more desperate than I ever thought--was there no tractor pull going on at the Fairgrounds that evening so they had to participate in School Bus Racing?
