I live in a newly built apartment complex in Worthington Oh we were the second apartment to move in the first happens to be our friends an neighbors. The were still finishing our specific apartment the day we were moving in. We have had nothing but trouble since we moved in. From the layout that we though we were going to have being completely wrong to there only being 13 parking spots for one building that has 25 apartments in it and there are 8 buildings. Our electric is wired wrong so since we moved in, in October 2008 we have been paying the electric bill that belongs to the apartment next to us now they are charging an insane amount of money in back pay and late fees from something they screwed up. I just need to find out where I can see what exact codes for parking and that type of thing are because I know they don't have permits for a lot of things and I have been looking online and I don't know if there is a way to look for my apartment complex specifically and see all the permits they have or don't have. If anyone has any information on what I can do I would really appreciate it.
We have contacted 10tv investigates, 6 on your side, city officials (who said they would send someone out in May and they have yet to do that). I just don't know what to do anymore the list of problems goes on and on and I can't seem to find anyone to help.

I would suggest you document in detail all issues that have arisen over your apartment, (I assume you had to sign a lease). I would consider going to small claims court to recover money that you have had to pay in error. I would also consider just moving out and including your forfeited deposit in your small claims suit. I would also check with the various credit agencies so you can post your response in case your landlord tries to damage your credit rating. I would start a letter writing campaign to the Dispatch and blog the web with your bad experience. If you are paying the electric bill for another apartment due to shoddy construction, it's fair to assume there may be other electrical deficiencies which could include fire hazards. Call the Franklin county building inspector and lodge a complaint. Anticipate every legal maneuver and or dirty trick they may play just to break your resistance and try to beat them to the punch. If they try to evict you for bogus reasons, walk away and then sue for damages. Good luck.

Yes I came home yesterday and there was what they called a "pre-eviction" notice on our door and our neighbors door saying we havn't paid our water bill in 3 months and I owe so much money by Wednesday or we will get an eviction notice. We moved in, in October like I said and we didn't receive our first water bill until February which I found to be odd and they haven't been monthly just every other month or so and from a water co. I have never heard of( the bills look like they were printed off a home computer everything is misspelled and says the due date is the 15th month of 2009) I haven't received a bills since April but now I have a large bill including late fees and they won't do anything to help me out.
