I've heard alot has changed since I moved to Baltimore, I left in 97 and haven't been back since. I visited NYC and realized that I'm not built for a place that moves that fast and I thought I'd ask what people in Columbus think makes them a good fit for that city. Didn't think it was that bad of a question.

Columbus is too slow for me.

Kind of like watching the person in front of you at the ATM who can't figure out how to put their card in right side up

Your question is phrased negatively and will only elicit negative responses. Similar to other posts (i.e. "what do you hate about Columbus," etc.). I can tell from your grammar and spellling, though, that you are definitely from "The South." Does that answer your question? Be happy wherever you are. There's no Utopia.

To be honest, C-Bus fits for anyone.

The city itself and its metro area is kind of like an all-you-can-eat buffet, with samplings of rich 'brub, poor 'burb, successsful downtown, cool urban 'hoods, old-money 'burbs, grit, straight-up-ugly 'burb, thriving industrial, dead industrial, and just plain weird mixed with a good variety of midwesterners, southerners, noertheasterners, and foreingers.

Like OSU, few have come to C-Bus and NOT found their niche. It really is all encompassing (maybe we should dub it the Snuggie city?

Agree--Columbus has a little bit for everyone. But punctuation when writing public postings is always important, and the best indicator I have found of one's educational background and upbringing. Read more of these posts, from all areas of the country, and you will also agree that there is a distinguishable trend. The apostrophe is essential when writing a contraction, by the way....and "your" vs. "you're".....also an indicator.....and errors like these are so prevalent on the Columbus, OH forum....we'll leave that up to individual interpretation. Sincerely, The Grammar Police
