Default Relocation to northeast Columbus

Where would be the best surburb for us to live in northeast Columbus? I will be working in the Mt. Vernon, OH area probably but want to live closer to Columbus. Need good schools, housing in the range of $225,000 to $250,000, prefer 3 or 4 bedroom with full basement (finished or not). Lot size not a concern, prefer smaller. What areas with these amenities have the highest property tax rate? Thanks for any help you can give me. Can live as far north as Sunbury and as far west as Lewis Center and as far south as New Albany.

What about Johnstown, OH? Any comments on living there? How are the schools? Housing? A lot of homes have been on the market for a very long time and we are concerned about resale if/when we have to face that.

I'd go Westerville myself, cute town actually, but Johnstown would be more convenient and would offer the suburban lifestyle. Looked like it was doing good with the new Kroger Fresh Fare going up the last time I passed through, so I'd guess it's a community on the grow.

Good Luck!!!!!
