Default Steeplechase Village

Has anyone had any recent experience with this neighborhood and surrounding area? Moving next month with my family and trying to find a good place. This is five minutes from my husband's new office but that's not really that important since he doesn't go in everyday. I tried to post before about good areas and only got one response.

Default Steeplechase village

When my family and I first moved to Columbus, we rented in Steeplechase Village. That was over ten years ago however, we found that it was a safe working class community. The school system was Hamilton Township which was not great but you didn't have to worry about your kids coming to harm.
The housing was former military quarters for enlisted and officers. We had a three bedroom corner home with a working fireplace in the livingroom. Overall it was a fine place to live initially until you find the area of the city you want to settle in.
