I would like to move around the Columbus area and teach maybe in Columbus or the suburbs. I like Granville, it's seems quaint, yet has high emphasis on education. I also like that you can buy a decent size home with at least 2 acreas for around $300,000. BY NYC standards that's really good.
Does anyone know more about Granville, Newark, Hebron, all of which seem to be in the Granville school district? |

Hi sukiecw,
I lived in Granville when I was young (for 11 years). It was a beautiful, quaint, historical, college town. I only have fond memories of the place. I can't help you with any of your questions because it's been 30 years since I lived there. But I would love to go back and visit it some day. ![]() Good Luck, Roma |

Granville is very nice. The only downside is that it is very expensive to live there. Coming from NY, it would probably seem reasonable to you though. Licking County as a whole is a great place to live. ( I live in Pataskala ) If I had the cash, I would move to Granville in a second. Good luck on your move!
