Default Was footloose filmed in Columbus?

You know, that movie where a city guy moves to the corn fields and finds that some kinds of dancing are not allowed?

Quote:
School leaders across Ohio are trying to encourage students to make memories at prom without making too much contact on the dance floor.
With a few weeks to go before the May 1 dance at Licking Valley High School, Wes Weaver, principal of the rural high school east of Newark, has notified students and their parents that sexually suggestive dancing won't be allowed.

Among those 10 points was a promise not to engage in grinding. One pelvic thrust in the wrong direction and a student would be booted from the prom - and a handful were, Mayell said.
So the rules were enforced. Mayell said his successor as principal, Tracy Wheeler, has made the policy even stricter - face-to-face dancing only.

Uh, Licking County is not part of Columbus.

Your thread FAILS.

I-70 works just as well going out of town as it does coming in. Maybe you should get a U-Haul and try it.

Uh, the article was about a school in Licking County. Or Columbus.

Your thread FAILS.

I suggst you get a U-Haul and get out. It's obvious you don't like it here. Pack up and move. No reason to stay somewhere if you don't like it.
