I have a meeting with someone at the Schoenbaum Family Center, at 175 East 7th Ave tomorrow at 1pm. I am going to be riding my bike from campus (OSU). You think it will be safe? I've been around that area a few times and it looks run-down, but not terribly unsafe. What would you say? Would you feel safe riding your bike through here?

THANKS

Fourteen views, no replies.. so I take that as one of two things: a.) It is safe and people think I am just over-reacting or B.) i'm going to me murdered on the way

I wouldn't do it, but I'm also not afraid of that area during the day.....I'd be more concerned about your bike.

You'll be fine biking there. Just make sure your bike is protected.

In the daytime, you'll be fine. It's really not that scary. Lock your bike up good, though.

Thanks to all. I made the ride, it only took about 2 minutes to get there as I rode in the streets with the fast pace of the cars. On the way back, I had to use the sidewalk because the street is one-way. The sidewalks are soooo incredibly narrow there. But all was well.
