While I think Upper Arlington has some of the best schools in the state, they probably aren't in the top ten in the nation. Many of of Ohio's schools are exceptional. Besides Upper Arlington, there is Indian Hill (Cincy), Oakwood (Dayton), and Dublin (Columbus). I'm sure there is an exceptional one around Cleveland but I'm not as familiar with its schools. The point is there are numerous districts in Ohio that are probably extremly exceptional to the point that they have national recognition. IMO, that is what makes Ohio a great place. While they may not be the super districts of New Jersey suburbs or the Fairfax County (Va.) School System, many districts, including Upper Arlington, can provide an education on a high national standard.

If you talk to Arlingtonians, you'd think Upper Arlington has the best everything in the nation!

An abundance of humility is not an Upper Arlington trait.

scjunkie is on a distinguished road
The largest employer in Upper Arlington is their school district so they never seem to have trouble passing new taxes to support the schools.

The Jerome Dublin high school is very good but watch out for the Dublin Scioto high school. It is right down the street from strip clubs (columbus gold/vanity) and if you have children you do not want them going to school around that area...Dublin also has a lot of minorities (asians and indians) so that might be good or bad depending what you like.

Wow, what a load of garbage.

First of all, what is it with you and strip clubs? Dublin Scioto is a great school, and a strip club kind-of, sort-of being within somewhat close proximity doesn't affect it at all. That's simply ridiculous.

And I'm not even touching the overt racism in your second line. I would ask you to explain how Indians and Asians (btw, Indians ARE Asians) living in Dublin could possibly be a "bad" thing, but there's no answer to that question that could be remotely acceptable, and so I won't.
