I hate Firefox betas because none of the themes work. You have to use nightly tester tools to get the add ons to work...

I might try it out, however I'm just worried that Firefox's popularity is attracting more hackers and viruses.

Chrome for me!

Also called the bleeding edge, no beta browsers for me, especially since the useful addons usually won't work. Especially addons like NoScript, I won't leave 127.0.0.1 without it.

If you want to try Beta 4 without interfering with the Firefox 3 on your PC, download and install this: Portable Beta Test

The entire installation, including the profile will be self-contained in a specified destination folder. It's just a fast, easy way to use the beta. I got this info from Mozillazine.

I know, that can be a bummer with extensions too. This time, instead of Nightly Tester Tools, I used an add-on developed by Mozilla called: Add-on Compatibility Reporter

This will force compatibility and also lets you send a report to Mozilla if there are any problems.

I've been poking around and found that you can change the tabs back below the address bar. Put your mouse pointer on a gray area around the address bar, right-click and a menu box will appear. Un-check the "Tabs on Top" entry in the menu.
