all those other wonderful people who have helped me on this site. I have taken Turcoloco's advise and done a complete, factory- fresh operation system restore, so I guess I should not get the BSoD for sometime, I hope.

I will be installing the W/D hard drive next with the Acronis 2011. And, NHDave the Blue Screen Error download you sent me works exceedingly well. Tekfreek, I will definitely be using CCCleaner....

I guess you should not be hearing from me for a while..........I hope. And this time, I will not download any of those Registry Cleaners, or anything that I do not research first, I promise.

Thank you so much, to all of you. Hasta La Vista, Ciao, Von Voyage!!!!!!!

Keep in mind CCleaner has a registry cleaner in it, disable it.

You are quite welcome Miranda. I really didn't think I helped much but thank you anyway. As far as coming here and asking for help too much goes, don't think that way, if people such as yourself didn't come here and ask for help, then it would be very boring and all these freaky geeks would start picking on each other and whole hell break loose!

On a more serious note, run temp file cleaner (ATF-Cleaner, FCleaner, CCleaner, etc.) and one a week or at least once a month run Scandisk and then defrag. That is all the maintenance you really need.

I am guessing you are using system restore but if you really want to be prepared, aside from the restore point, I'd suggest making periodic registry backups, you could also use REGOPT in that package to defrag the registry which is actually safe and helpful.

So, since you have done a fresh install, I guess we won't be seeing you for a week or so?
