Has anyone here tried SongBird as their media player? I wanted it primarily for audio, thinking it would be a good replacement for the lackluster iTunes. But it seems to have a LOT of problems.

True, it's still a youngster compared to other players and is still in development by the open-source community, but I find the entire set-up very frustrating. It's at the point where it won't even play more than one song (if I can even get that one song to work). It won't play the next song in the playlist, even though I've tried to re-import my music. I had to disable / uninstall the plug-ins since they were creating havoc.

At least iTunes worked, after a fashion, as plain-Jane as it was.

I'm running on an HP dv6-1378nr Entertainment notebook, Windows 7 Home, 4gb/500gb.
