As added spyware protection, I like to install Spybot so I can immunize the system and then use Malwarebytes to clean stuff off if it shows up.
^^^Agreed!^^^

The poll is incomplete!

I use Microsoft Security Essentials on all my Windows machines for its ease of use and because it doesn't impact system resources. Even on a Netbook running Windows 7 the impact is minimal. I use a Netbook 98% of the time; it's got a SSD drive and boots quicker and is completely silent.

Like mensaguy I also use Malwarebytes as a secondary scanner.

I use iAntiVirus on my MacBook Pro and my Mac Mini. I use those primarily for video editing and heavy-duty graphic work.

They only offer a 30-day trial. How do you manage to get it free for more than that?

I use Microsoft Security Essentials along with Avast. They are set so they don't conflict.

I use AVG FREE and haven't had any problems. I tried Norton which is free with ISP, but it slowed my system down so I installed AVG back again. AVG has a free version and another version you pay with more functions.

You're asking for trouble. Why would you do that?
