Microsoft Security Essentials because its free, it keeps Windows from complaining about lack of AV, and it doesn't get in the way.

McAfee suite. I've been using McAfee for years. Used to get it free from the US Navy for whom I worked. They knew that people took stuff from work computers to home computers and back. They offered licensed copies of McAfee, Norton and Trend Micro to employees. I used Norton on some computers and McAfee on others, but eventually preferred McAfee. Now retired, I have to pay for it but it still works well with no problems.

? Symantec isn't on there? Isn't that one of the biggest ones around?

I've never heard of anything other than that, AVG, Norton, and the MS-Windows crap.
