Spontaneous emails to self. Wife has been getting them. There is [no subject] in place of where a subject heading would be. There's a little icon you can click on that will say, "This sender is DomainKeys verified." There's another icon to click on that will show all contact details.

This sender is DomainKeys verified Jane Doe" <janedoe@yahoo.com>

There is nothing else to the email.

Any thoughts?

She did have some kind of medicine or whatever in the message, but I immediately ran all of my programs and that disappeared, but them email to herself is still going on. They appear to be real.

It's just Spam. The Spam is putting your wife's email in the FROM field making it look like she is sending it to herself.

Yep. The spammers know that most spam filters will let in mail from your own account, so it increases their chances of getting their message read.

Don't click any of the links in their messages. They might lead you to someplace that will hijack your computer or infect it with a virus.

One way is to put a web stored image link in the email and then monitor the image for hit counts and IP addresses. There are other ways.

Thanks. I guess if it's not really her, then I could use the spam button.
