Okay I am a frequent laptop user....mainly as a student, I am on my laptop many times.... I have used air pressure to clean out the dust through the vents...but
when I am for example typing this just now, there is a lot of heat and radiation through the keyboard and it always makes my hands feel really weird.....

After researching my problems, I was surprised to find that the radiation and heating from laptop is really bad for my health....

How do I reduce all this heat comming from the keyboard and touchpad????Should I try the HARApad???

I really want to fix this annoying problem ASAP, and should i possibly switch laptops?

Radiation? Really?

Heat is a natural result of cramming lots of electronics into a small space. Some laptops produce more heat than others and some are better at venting it away from the user than others. Get a separate keyboard and mouse if it bothers you that much.

Get a lap top cooler pad. Available everywhere. About $30.

I got sick of my laptop battery dying so quickly so I decided to power my laptop with a nuclear reactor.

Well, that's one way I hadn't thought of.

Don't use it on a carpet or cushion. It needs air circulation underneath, so at least put a piece of hard plywood under it if not on a table, and prop it up on something so the back edge is even higher, if possible.

The heat will do a lot more damage to your laptop than to you.

A large cafeteria tray works good and it can be multi-tasked as a boogie board to surf ocean waves with ~♥~

Don't you need a cooling tower for that?

I had a Sony Vaio and it heated up like crazy. I hated it. Cost me over $2K. Then I came to my senses: I'm going to be buying a new computer every couple of years anyway so what's the point of spending so much money? I downgraded to a $500 ACER laptop and even though it doesn't have the bells and whistles, the laptop doesn't heat up like my Vaio did.
