We have a kind of communal printer set up as wireless. Oddly enough I can print something off the Internet like the Google site, but I can't print a text note from Open Office. Is there something I need to do I'm not doing?
Oh yeah, and the print job from the printer was lousy. Might've done better with a larger paper...
I'm not sure how to do a test page. I did find out how to update the drivers. It gave me Amyuni Document Converter 400 and Amyuni Document Converter 450.

The issue goes back to the operating system and the device drivers in use.
Either a compatibility issue between the printer device (and its drivers) and the operating system. If you are not able to print from a regular Windows app like Notepad or Wordpad leads me to believe Open Office is not the culprit.
Since it is also cycling paper but not printing kind of tells me that there is communication between the PC and the printer yet it fails to send the print job, again kind of goes back to the device drivers.
What is your operating system (and current service pack if applicable)?
What is your printer (make/model) and the driver version it is currently using? Are you using Universal or PCL or PS drivers?
Just throwing out some ideas, hopefully it will give you something to check for.

I checked the device driver and it said something to the effect that all drivers were up to date. I couldn't copy paste anything.

There is no service pack for Win 7 yet and the fact that you installed the 64-bit version leads me to believe you are a masochist.
OK, I was kidding with the masochist comment but still, good luck with getting it work right. The problem is more than likely with either your printer drivers and unfortunately I am not familiar with the particular model and have limited experience with wireless printers. Since it communicates yet fails to transfer the data (print job), I am leaning towards the printer drivers. Did you install them from the vendor or did Win7 installed it by itself?
Perhaps one of the others who has experience on this could chime in?
