Hi all. I was hoping someone here could lead me in the right path.

We are looking for a type of scheduling software that complete a schedule on the fly, and that we could update schedule changes into and it would reschedule everyone.

In a nutshell:

We have two departments at work that need Coverage. These are in Hour blocks in both. Each department has a set # of people, all of whom have varying schedules. Each department's people work to cover on both sides, but the Home Department gets more coverage from their people.

I am hoping that it would have something where I can set parameters such as, I want Employees to have 8 hours for the Week Maximum, and that it would schedule them based on their availability.

We have been doing a schedule in Excel, and it doesn't seem to work very well, as it seems to be labor intensive and easy to mess up.

If anyone has a better idea than a seperate software program, such as a Macro or type of Excel sheet, I am all ears!
Thanks in advance
