Wishful thinking! The whole point in bringing out a new OS is because the old one was outdated and a vunerability.

Go to Majorgeeks and check out Zone Alarm Free for Vista
For antivirus you have two options:
Avast Home and Professional v4.7.942(32/64-bit
AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition v7.5.463 (32/64-bit) by Grisoft.

I actually went back and purchased the computer through someone else and I did buy an internet security package that was on sale for $20.00. The computer did come with a free trial of Norton so I don't know why that guy said that nothing came with it and I would get a virus within 5 minutes after logging into the internet. I am actually using my new computer now.

Wow, Vista sure does make it hard to find things on your computer though.

And Yes I give permission to post this......

Janipoo, switch your folders to "classic view" and they'll look like they did on XP. That should make finding stuff a little easier - especially in the control panel area.

Yeah, but the new printer is 2 months old and desgned to be compatible with Vista. It works fine with XP, so I'm using it with my older laptop for the moment.
