ok im running windows XP and a GIGABYTE EP41T-UD3L motherboard and i cannot get the microphone ports to work, in fact the front ports for microphone and headphones only registers static the back port works for speakers but for the life of me i cant get the microphone to work.
I have tried EVERYTHING i could find on internet forums and to no avail i know the mic works as it does on my laptop (which runs windows vista and iss a hp pavilion dv6) ive tried everything the controll pannel has and nothing helped somone has to know how to fix this ive completely run out of ideas
