Okay, I have a Dell Dimension desktop computer. I had started out with the default Dell mouse. However, I had a problem. The mouse would stop working...the pointer would remain stationary no matter what - and the sensor light on the bottom of the mouse would not work. I would keep having to unplug the mouse and replug it in, and then it would work. Sometimes it would happen again within the hour, sometimes within a few hours, sometimes within a few days. Anyway, I got a new Logitech optical mouse. Worked fine for the first month or so, maybe a little more. Now, it's happening again, and seemingly more frequently. I've tried installing the drivers, I've tried switching the USB port...nothing. Also, when it is workingproperly, the mouse will jump around a lot and make it hard to navigate.
That makes me think SOMETHING in my software is wrong, no?
No, wired. That's why I said I changed its USB port over and over again.
