Yup, even if you can grab it all and cram it back in it never works.

This is what happened to me when I tried my first home computer repair or service, - the lady of the house was flirting with me and trying to suggest sex with me. But she was fat and ugly and I guess desperate. So after that I quit home service repair.

There's a poster on this forum (not this thread) that, if they were a client, I'd drop them in a heartbeat.

Another gem received by email tonight. I didn't respond to the last one. I wonder how long she'll keep this up. I wonder how many of those 7 technicians told her whatever she wanted to hear to get away.

"Do you know how much damage an incorrectly installed modem can cause? Network card, hard drive, reinstallation of programs, business reputation..... This hard drive sustained so much damage from that modem being installed incorrectly that it cannot do much of anything. I have incurred several thousand dollars of damage just to this computer, which is fairly new. You also ruined several other computers. I have 7 technicians who pinpointed the issues to this not to mention all the lost work and clients during this time, etc. And to walk out when it finally was figured out, stating it was impossible was the most unprofessional conduct. You did not even install Office correctly, and I had to have that redone as well."

I did a house call yesterday and their loveable house pet was.........

a huge Great Dane, who proceeded to lick my shirt.

Surcharge was added to the bill.

At least it liked to lick instead of sniff... Ruh Roe!

EscapeCalifornia you need to change your screen name to EscapeStalker

The hard drive sustained damage from the modem installation? You, sir, have a total moron on your hands.

And if you walked out "when it finally was figured out" why are there still problems?

How did you damage a hard drive installing a modem? What could happen that would cause several thousand dollars worth of damage to a $600 PC?

You must be really talented if you can ruin several of her computers and she still calls you back.

Not to mention her other 7 techs.

I'm glad you walked out. Keep us entertained with her emails, but don't go back. (You might break something. )
